We want you to love your Timber Creek Ranch candle. If you're not completely satisfied with your purchase, we're here to help.

Return Window You have 30 days from the date of delivery to request a return.

Eligibility To be eligible for a return, your candle must be:

  • Unused and unburned
  • In its original jar with the lid intact
  • In the original packaging

How to Start a Return Email us at rjjs9332@gmail.com with your order number and the reason for the return. We'll respond within 2 business days with return instructions.

Return Shipping Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item arrived damaged or defective. We recommend using a trackable shipping method, as we cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

Refunds Once we receive and inspect your returned candle, we'll send you an email to confirm. If approved, your refund will be processed to your original payment method within 5–10 business days. Original shipping charges are non-refundable.

Damaged or Defective Items If your candle arrives damaged or defective, please email us within 7 days of delivery with photos of the item and packaging. We'll cover return shipping and send a replacement or issue a full refund, including original shipping.

Non-Returnable Items

  • Candles that have been burned or used
  • Items purchased with the "FBfriend" friends & family discount code (final sale)
  • Sale or clearance items (when marked as final sale)

Lost or Stolen Packages Once a package is marked as delivered by the carrier, Timber Creek Ranch Candles is not responsible for lost or stolen items. Please contact the carrier directly to file a claim.

Slight variations in color, scent throw, and appearance are normal for hand-poured candles and are not considered defects.

4. Pricing and Availability All prices are listed in U.S. dollars and are subject to change without notice. We reserve the right to limit quantities, refuse or cancel any order, and correct pricing errors at any time, including after an order has been placed.

5. Orders and Payment Placing an order constitutes an offer to purchase. We reserve the right to accept or decline any order. Payment is processed through Shopify Payments and other authorized providers. You agree to provide accurate billing and shipping information.

6. Discount Codes Discount codes (including "FBfriend" friends & family and first-order codes) are non-transferable, cannot be combined with other offers unless stated, and may be revoked at our discretion if misused.

7. Shipping Shipping is handled through USPS via Pirate Ship. We are not responsible for carrier delays. Risk of loss passes to you upon delivery to the carrier. See our Refund & Return Policy for details on damaged or lost shipments.

8. Returns Returns are governed by our Refund & Return Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms.

9. Intellectual Property All content on the Site — including the Timber Creek Ranch Candles name, logo, photos, label designs, scent names, and product descriptions — is the property of Timber Creek Ranch Candles LLC and protected by U.S. copyright and trademark law. You may not copy, reproduce, or use any of this content without written permission.

Your safety matters to us. Please read and follow these guidelines every time you burn a Timber Creek Ranch candle.

Before You Light

  • Trim the wooden wick to ¼ inch before each burn. A long wick produces excessive flame, soot, and smoke.
  • Place the candle on a stable, heat-resistant surface away from drafts, vents, and ceiling fans.
  • Keep away from flammable materials, including curtains, bedding, papers, and decorations.

While Burning

  • Never leave a burning candle unattended.
  • Keep out of reach of children and pets.
  • Do not burn for more than 4 hours at a time.
  • Allow the wax to melt fully to the edge of the jar on the first burn (typically 2–3 hours) to prevent tunneling.
  • Discontinue use when ½ inch of wax remains in the jar.

Extinguishing

  • Use a wick dipper or snuffer if possible. Do not blow out — this can cause hot wax to splatter.
  • Make sure the wick ember is fully out before walking away.
  • Do not move the candle while the wax is liquid or the jar is hot.

Jar Safety

  • The jar will become hot during use. Always allow it to cool completely before handling.
  • Do not use the candle if the jar is cracked, chipped, or damaged.
  • Once your candle is finished, the jar can be cleaned and reused — but never reuse it as a candle holder for another flame.

Allergies and Sensitivities Our candles contain fragrance oils. If you or anyone in your household has fragrance sensitivities, asthma, or allergies, please test in a well-ventilated area first. Discontinue use if irritation occurs. Keep away from pets known to be sensitive to fragrance (especially birds and some cats).
