Timber Creek Ranch Candles is a family owned and operated small business based in Weatherford, Texas, the heart of Parker County, about 30 minutes west of Fort Worth. Founded in 2026 and operated by Timber Creek Ranch Home Decor LLC, we make hand-poured candles that tell the story of Texas, one scent at a time.
A Family Business, Pouring with Texas Pride
We're not a factory and we're not a corporation. We're a family. Every Timber Creek Ranch candle is poured by hand, in small batches, right here in Weatherford by our family crew. Friendly internal sales contests keep the whole team invested in every single candle that goes out the door.
That means no assembly line. No mass production. No shortcuts. When you light a Timber Creek Ranch candle, you're burning something a real Texan measured, poured, wicked, and labeled, usually within the last few weeks. You're not just buying a candle. You're supporting a small Texas family business, and that's something we're proud of every day.
The Wooden Wick Difference
Most candles you've ever burned were lit with a cotton wick. Ours aren't, and once you've burned a wooden wick candle, you understand why.
Every Timber Creek Ranch candle burns on a real wooden wick. That choice matters for three reasons:
- The crackle. A wooden wick makes that soft, fireplace-like crackle as it burns. It's a small thing, but it turns a candle from a fragrance device into an experience.
- A cleaner, slower burn. Wooden wicks burn with a wider, steadier flame than cotton, which means less tunneling, less smoke, and a longer-lasting candle.
- No mushrooming, no curling, no soot. Just trim to ¼ inch before each burn and you're good.
We size every wick (small, medium, or large) specifically to the fragrance and pour of each scent. That's why our candles burn evenly all the way to the bottom of the jar, instead of leaving a tunnel of wasted wax around the edges.
What Goes Into Every Candle
We're picky about what goes into the jar because we know what's coming out of it.
- Premium container wax chosen for its clean, even burn and strong scent throw
- Wooden wicks for the crackle, the wider flame, and the longer burn
- Quality fragrance oils sourced from established American suppliers, most loaded at a generous 10% concentration for a stronger scent
- Heavy 8 oz glass jars that are refillable, reusable, and built to look good on your shelf or mantle
- 14-day cure time, because we don't rush the wax. Each candle rests for two full weeks before it ever ships, since that's how container wax develops its best scent.
Each candle burns approximately 40 to 50 hours when cared for properly.
